Food and service were great. Acoustics made it hard to talk, but it IS a bar. We ordered mostly off the special MO day appetizer special listing.

We had a house party scheduled. Suddenly we had a change of venue, with only hours remaining for the party. Frantically, we called everywhere and thankfully Shiloh Gastro was able to accommodate with a private room- saving the day! The folks at the restaurant went out of their way, making this a very memorable event. So appreciated the courtesy of the staff as they navigated pulling this party together on short notice. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Excellent food, somewhat expensive, excellent service. Our party was seated upstairs, in the second dining room, the stairs were steep and narrow but the restrooms upstairs were good sized and very clean. This is a bar that sells food. Excellent macaroni and cheese.

Party of 4 went for dinner on a very cold Thursday night in January. Got there around 5:30pm, so the place was pretty empty. Filled up later. Service was very friendly. Each of us had a drink - I had the Moscow Mule which was very nice. Also had the pierogies and totchoes, both from the Happy Hour menu, and they were very filling. Others had the Three Rivers Salad, Cauliflower Tacos, and the Cheese Steak. Everyone loved their food. At the end, we shared the strawberry cheesecake pierogies and the chocolate cake desserts. Everything was delicious. Total including tips and taxes came to around 35 per person, which is pretty good considering how much food we had. The restaurant has its own parking lot too.

Shiloh Gastro is a hidden gem atop Mt. Washington, offering scratch-made contemporary comfort food in a laid-back, relaxed setting—making it a perfect stop whether you're a local or just visiting the Mount. The ambiance is welcoming with both indoor and outdoor seating options, a full bar featuring bar stools and high tops, and even an upstairs area with additional dining space and a private room available for events. The staff is incredibly sweet and attentive, enhancing the warm, inviting vibe of the restaurant. They also run several fun weekly specials: Happy Hour all day on Mondays and again Tuesday through Friday from 4–6 PM, with deals on drinks and appetizers. On “211 Tuesdays,” those who live or work on Mt. Washington receive 25% off their meals—a great local perk! And every Wednesday, enjoy half-off mac and cheese—a comfort food classic. From their new spring cocktail menu, I tried two standout drinks: Hibiscus Margarita: Sauza tequila, Cointreau, hibiscus, fresh lime juice, and a salted rim—bright, floral, and refreshing. Light My Way (Ultraviolet Daiquiri): Maggie’s Farm rum, creme de violette, lavender simple syrup, and fresh lime juice—smooth, aromatic, and unique. For starters, the shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms were a hit—baby portobellos filled with a rich mix of crab, spinach, and cream cheese, topped with garlic butter shrimp and balsamic glaze. Flavor-packed and satisfying. Next up was the strawberry caprese salad—a fresh spring mix tossed in balsamic vinaigrette, with red onions, diced strawberries, fresh mozzarella, basil pesto, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. It was the perfect light and seasonal dish. For the main course, I tried one of their new menu items: stuffed shells filled with chicken, spinach, tomatoes, onions, cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Served with garlic bread, this dish was indulgent, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I ended the meal with their cinnamon roll bread pudding, served warm with vanilla ice cream and caramel—comforting, decadent, and the ideal sweet finish. I can't wait to return and explore more of their spring/summer menu. Shiloh Gastro nails the balance of comfort and creativity—definitely worth the trip up the Mount!
